The port authority is important.. I have to get a certain number of days in the year aboard the ship in the Chief position in my Seamen's book. And than I can go take the Captains exam. And well than I can go and become a captain next.
As for the taxes. See I pay a huge amount of taxes so that that middle aged long haired man in his speedos can be on official sick leave from his office- and I pay his alimentation trough my taxes, whilst he mocks around in his speedos ain the middle of the winter plays ball in the sea.
Same as half these people sitting having coffee. I mean does any one work? How can so many people on a working day spend all their days at coffee like this?
Excuse me. Got an email from my company, ill just read it a second.
What. They must be joking. They are offering less than half the wages. They can't expect to pay those wages to an European Chief. No one could accept this. If I accept, than soon they will lower the wages all across , the standard will drop.
